Some of our best client relationships started with a single job. This one started six years ago and hasn't stopped since.
Today we made our annual run from Worcester, Massachusetts to Lexington Avenue in New York City for Berkshire Blanket — loading a 16-foot truck with product, driving into Manhattan, hauling it all up to the 23rd floor, setting up the showroom, then driving back to Worcester for more. Two movers. One truck. One of the most important days on our client's calendar.
Six Years and Counting
Our relationship with Berkshire Blanket goes back to 2020, and over those six years we've handled just about every logistical challenge they've thrown at us.
We've organized and set up their corporate offices and showroom on Lexington Avenue in New York City — multiple times. We consolidated their inventory at their former facility in Ware, Massachusetts. We moved their entire warehouse and operations from Ware to Worcester. And every year, we make the product haul to NYC for their showroom refresh.
At this point, we don't just show up as vendors. We show up as part of the team.

The NYC Showroom Run
If you've never moved product into a high-rise on Lexington Avenue, here's what it looks like.
You navigate a 16-foot box truck through Manhattan traffic. You find the loading dock — which in Midtown means circling the block and timing your arrival to the minute. You check in with building maintenance, who at this point knows us well enough that they skip the full orientation and hand us the service elevator key. Six years of showing up professional, on time, and without damaging anything in the building earns you that kind of trust.
Then you haul. Bag after bag after bag of product into a tight service elevator, up 23 floors, and into the showroom. The volume is astounding — Berkshire Blanket doesn't do anything small. Blankets, throws, pillows, bedding — each piece tagged, organized, and destined for a specific spot in the showroom display.
The Setup

The showroom setup is where the real work happens. This isn't just stacking boxes on shelves. The Berkshire team works with incredible precision and speed to transform a room full of shipping bags into a polished, magazine-worthy product showroom in a matter of hours. Every blanket is unbagged, positioned, and styled. Every display is arranged to tell a story to the buyers who will walk through in the coming days.
Our job is to keep pace with them — moving product where it needs to go, breaking down packaging, clearing the floor so they can work, and making sure the flow never stops. After six years of doing this together, we've become a pretty good team. We anticipate what they need before they ask. They trust us to handle their product like it's our own. That's what happens when a vendor relationship turns into a partnership.
Then We Drive Back for More in 6 months
Today's run was a round trip. Worcester to NYC, unload and set up, then back to Worcester to load more product for the next delivery. That's roughly 350 miles of driving plus a full showroom setup in between — all in one day with a two-person crew.
This is the kind of work that doesn't show up on Thumbtack or Google Ads. It comes from six years of doing the job right, every single time, until the client doesn't even consider calling anyone else.
What This Means for Our Commercial Clients

The Berkshire Blanket relationship is a model for how we approach every commercial account. Whether you need a one-time office move, an annual product haul, a warehouse relocation, or ongoing logistics support — we build relationships, not transactions.
We show up on time. We learn your building, your team, your product, and your expectations. We get better at your specific job every time we do it. And six years later, the building maintenance crew waves us through because they know we belong there.
